# How to Connect

1. Please ensure that you have the <mark style="color:blue;">Civilian</mark> rank on our [Discord ](https://discord.gg/clrp)before attempting to join!
2. On the FiveM main menu, press **F8.**
3. Type “connect play.cl-rp.ne&#x74;**”** in the text bar and press ENTER
4. Press F8 to close the console and click on **“PLAY NOW”** when the button appears.
