📈Upgrading Your Rig

Your starter rig is just the beginning! To truly maximize your mining potential, you'll need to upgrade to Tier 2 and Tier 3 components.

The Hidden Workshop: Digital Den only has the basics. To craft Tier 2 and Tier 3 upgrades, as well as Advanced Electronic Repair Kits, you'll need to locate the secret electronics workshop hidden somewhere in the city. This crafting location is where serious miners go to build high performance components. Ask around, someone might know where it is!

Gathering Materials: Upgrading requires special materials you won't find at any store. You'll need to gather components from various activities around the city, such as Dumpster Diving, Garbage Job, House Robberies, Chop shop, and more! Mining Efficiency & Hardware Score: Every component in your miner contributes to your Hardware Score, which determines how efficiently you mine and which cryptocurrencies you can access. A basic rig starts around 135 points, enough to mine Shungite. To unlock X Coin, you'll need at least 200 points, which means an extra GPU or upgrading to Tier 2 parts. The premium LME requires 300+ points and serious hardware investment.

TIP: The higher your score, the faster you mine and the more you earn. Keep your parts healthy though! Damaged components contribute less to your score!
