# How to Connect

2. On the FiveM main menu, press **F8.**
3. Type “connect play.cl-rp.ne&#x74;**”** in the text bar and press ENTER
4. Press F8 to close the console and click on **“PLAY NOW”** when the button appears.

Common commands, clicking a command will provide a detailed description

If your textures are not loading for some reason, try increasing your Extended Texture Budget to about halfway! Find this in your **Settings > Graphics > Extended Texture Budget**

Trying to do something and it says you need a commercial license? No problem! Head over to the yellow steering wheel or the Driving School on your map. Once there, go up the stairs to do the exam. After successful completion of the driving exam, you must go back in the circle on-top of the stairs and complete the “Commercial Driving Test”. After successful completion of this, you will be able now to do delivery jobs, and purchase vehicles!

If your car goes on an adventure without you, treat it like a one-time-use coupon. Once it's gone, you're stuck waiting for the next tsunami to bring it back from the impound lot. Be safe rather than being sorry!

Did the cops swipe your wheels? No worries!

📧 Keep an eye on your in-game inbox for an email with the scoop on when your ride will be back. Once the time's up, head to The Tow Lot and scoop it back from the desk near the Tow Boss.

Ready to pack some heat? Swing by the courthouse marked on your map, and buy a weapons license from a friendly staff member there when they are in-city. A word of caution though, they come at a steep price - for good reason!

**Here's how you can lower the volume of your FiveM Chromium Process!**

1. Tab out of your game, and right click the windows speaker icon in the bottom right.
2. Click 'Open Volume Mixer'
3. Navigate to the 'FiveM Chromium subprocess'
4. Configure the volume to your taste. We recommend 25-35%!

Starting a gang is simple. Find a group of people, come up with a name and color (optional), assert your dominance, and set a name for yourself. Remember, you don't always have to resort to violence to do this! Creativity and good roleplay is always rewarded and encouraged!

<summary>💥My FiveM keeps crashing!</summary>

There may be a few factors causing this issue. Here are some possible solutions!\
Try to switch from Windowed/Borderless windowed/Fullscreen to one of the other modes, if that doesn’t fix it try to restart FiveM. If  you are still having issues, [clearing your cache](#clear-my-fivem-cache) is the best option. Finally, If this option didn’t work, fully uninstall, and re-install FiveM/GTA V.&#x20;

# Radio

Radio Comms 101: Staying Connected

1. **Get Your Gear**\
   Visit any hardware store in the city to purchase a **Radio**. It’s the key to keeping your team in sync, whether you’re cruising with friends or planning bigger operations.
2. **Activate the Radio**
   * **Right-click** on the Radio in your inventory.
   * Select **Use** to power it up and bring up the frequency interface.
3. **Choose Your Channel**
   * At the center of your screen, you’ll see a field where you can **type in a frequency**.
   * Enter a channel number (e.g., 101.1, 200.5, etc.) and then press **Enter** to confirm.
   * You’ll connect to that specific frequency right away—just like tuning into a private station.
4. **Adjusting Volume & Disconnecting**
   * You can easily **turn the volume up or down** to suit your surroundings. Look at the image below for help with this
   * To leave a frequency (or fully shut off the radio), follow the image below.
5. **Pro Tips**
   * **Share the Frequency**: If you’re teaming up, make sure everyone agrees on the same channel before heading out.
   * **Switch Often**: If you suspect eavesdroppers, change frequencies regularly for better security.
   * **Distance:** Distance between your friends matters! The farther away, the weaker the frequency

With the right frequency and a solid plan, your radio becomes the backbone of any organized effort—whether it’s coordinating a daring escape or just chatting with friends across town. Stay sharp, stay connected, and keep the airwaves buzzing!

# Refueling Vehicles

Find your way to any Gas Station on the map, and let your refueling adventure begin!

Once there, cozy your car up to a gas tank, like they're old pals. Then, use your third eye (**LALT**), and select '*Refill Vehicle*', and select Regular Gas. Now It's fueling time!

Got that done? Great! Head over to your vehicle, and use your third eye to select 'Send bill" option.&#x20;

Now, Whip out your phone like a tech-savvy wizard and pay that bill. Once you've done that, use your third eye again on your vehicle and select 'Refuel Vehicle > Start Refueling'&#x20;

Once your vehicle's belly is full, kindly return the hose with a touch of your third eye again on the gas tank. Voila! You're all set to zoom away to your next adventure!

### Getting Started

* Acquire Maps: Earn treasure maps from various activities throughout the city
* What You'll Need: A Shovel to dig up your loot
* Time Limits: Maps expire after 30-60 minutes - act fast!

3. **Claim Your Vehicle**: Upon selecting a route, a robust garbage truck will be yours to command.

5. **Arrive at Your Destination**: When you've reached the highlighted location (Red Circle), it's time to get to work.
6. **Open the Trunk**: While inside your garbage truck, press 'Z'. Navigate to "vehicle > vehicle doors > trunk" to open the trunk.
7. **Collect the Trash**: Step outside and use your third eye on trash bins around the zone. Select the "Grab Garbage" option to collect the trash.
8. **Deposit the Trash**: Carry the collected trash back to the truck and deposit it inside using your third eye.

10. **Return to Eddie**: After all zones are clean, return to Eddie. He will reward your hard work with a well-deserved pay. Let's clean up the city, one bin at a time!

7. **Suit Up:** Once you've reached your destination, it's time to equip your diving gear.
8. **Collect Crates:** Dive deep into the water and start collecting Finley's crates.
9. **Optional Coral Collection:** While you're down there, keep an eye out for beautiful corals you can gather. (It pays well!)
10. **Monitor Progress:** Keep tabs on your progress using the group app. Be sure to stay alert for an email from Finley containing further instructions.
11. **Follow New Directions:** If Finley points you to a new location, make your way there. If not, return to the shop and wrap up the activity.
12. **Sell Corals:** Any corals you've gathered can be sold back to Finley for a tidy profit.

4. **Set up your Hunting Spot:** Upon reaching the hunting grounds, scout for an appealing area, open your inventory, and select "use" on the bait item.
5. **Wait and Watch:** The suspense begins! Keep a sharp eye out for an animal. Remember, they will spawn within a radius around the bait.
6. **Take your shot:** When you spot a potential catch, take aim, fire, and use your third eye along with the Knife to skin your catch!
7. **Repeat and Profit:** Repeat this process as often as you like! Once you've had your fill of the hunt, return to the Hunting Store to sell all the goods you've acquired and collect your well-deserved earning
8. **More bang for your Buck:** Purchase a camping stove from the hobby store to cook your meat between hunts & sell it for a bigger profit!

Fishing Lures can be crafted or found in Treasure Chests! They're an excellent way to improve both your chances of catching fish and the frequency of your catches.

Each lure is unique and designed for specific fishing rods. Be sure to check the item's tooltip to see which rod your lure is compatible with!

**Lure Effects:** Lures last for 30 minutes once activated and provide several benefits while active:

* **Faster Fishing:** Reduces the time between catch attempts, letting you fish more in less time
* **Better Catch Rate:** Increases your chance of successfully reeling in a fish
* **Rarer Catches:** Shifts the odds in your favor, making rare and valuable fish more likely to bite
* **Bonus XP:** Earn extra fishing experience with every catch

1. Press and hold 'Z' to whip out your Radial Menu and select "Taxi." while inside your Taxi.
2. Are you a people person? Start by showing off your fare meter to start charging for your charismatic chauffeur services once you’ve snagged a client. Start the meter, select a price, and go!
3. Or if you're a lone cruiser, toggle over to NPC Missions to hop into the queue for automated adventures.
4. When it’s your turn, you’ll get a location to scoop up your customer.
5. Whisk them away to their destination, deliver top-tier service, and then collect your well-earned payment automatically!
6. Done cruising? Toggle off NPC missions, return your trusty boss, and get your deposit back as you clock out.

## How do you start Towing?

### To start Towing, head to the Tow Lot blip on your GPS!

1. **Arrival at Postal 9039:** Make your way to the jovial boss Bon Joe at postal 9039. He's your first point of contact to get things rolling.
2. **Sign in:** Engage in some small talk and hit 'Sign In' on your chat options. You're now officially a part of the team!
3. **Join the Queue:** A quick follow-up chat with Bon Joe, and you're ready to dive into the action. Click 'Join Tow Queue' to get started.
4. **Vehicle Awaits:** Step outside into the fresh air. You'll find your shiny tow truck waiting for you, ready to take on the city.
5. **Patience is a Virtue:** Your phone is your best friend now. Wait for a notification of a car in need of towing. Remember, good things come to those who wait!
6. **Arrival at Site:** Once the call comes in, jump into your tow truck and head to the marked location on your GPS.
7. **Hooking Time:** Hop out of your truck, use your third eye on the back of the Tow Truck and select 'Hook Vehicle'. Feels good, doesn't it? Having issues with this step? Try lining it up a different way or repositioning your Tow Truck!
8. **Return to Base:** With the vehicle safely hooked, it's time to head back. Drive to the Tow Lot to deposit your newfound metallic friend.
9. **Unhook & Deposit:** At the lot, get out and use your third eye on the back of the flatbed to 'Unhook Vehicle'. Follow up with another third eye interaction to 'Deposit' the vehicle.
10. **The Cycle Continues:** Repeat this process as much as you'd like. You're still in the queue, ready for the next job at any moment. To leave the queue or collect your $500 deposit, simply have a chat with Bon Joe and sign out.
11. **You've Got This:** You're now a towing pro! Your journey through the exciting world of towing has just begun. Congratulations and good luck out there!

1. **Meet the Boss**: Kickstart your trucking journey . Your boss awaits you there. Rent your powerhouse of a truck for just $500 and get ready for an adventurous ride.
2. **Receive Your Truck**: Your majestic vehicle will pull up to you within 15 seconds of renting. A truck is not just a truck - it's your partner on this exciting journey.
3. **Connect the Trailer**: After you've entered your Truck, connect it to the Trailer by lining it up and pressing H!
4. **Embark on Your Route**:  Now you're off! Drive safely to  to your target location. Embrace the open road!
5. **Line It Up**: Once you've arrived, align your vehicle with the Ghost Truck's Projection. This is where the real work begins. It's unhitching time!&#x20;
6. **Unhitching Your Truck:** To Unhitch your truck, hop out, and use your third eye (L ALT) on your Truck to start the Unhitching process!
7. **Unload and deliver your goods**: Head to the back of your Trailer, and once again use your third eye (L ALT) to start unloading your cargo!
8. **Delivery Time**: Once you've unloaded the cargo, head to the client on your GPS and once again use your third eye (L ALT) to deliver the cargo to the buyer! Do this until you no longer have any goods left!
9. **Collect Your Pay**: You've not just transported items, you've mastered the art of logistics. Now, it's time to reap the rewards. Head back to the boss you started from, and third eye him (L ALT) to finish the job!

2. **Go On Duty**: Step inside the Recycle Center and let your third eye guide you to the desk. Use it to toggle on your recycling duty. Your green journey begins now!
3. **Search and Find**: Now that you're officially a recycling warrior, make your way inside towards the glowing object. Let the hunt begin!
4. **Dig Deep**: Once you find the glowing object, channel your third eye once again to thoroughly search it. Every piece counts!
5. **Drop It Off**: After a successful search, your third eye will guide you to a new highlighted object. This is where you drop off your discoveries!
6. **Reward Time**: Dropping off your items doesn't just declutter the environment - it rewards you with precious recycling materials!
7. **Trade and Prosper**: With your freshly earned materials in hand, it's time to trade! Visit the ped near the drop off zone and exchange your recycling materials for useful items.
8. **Clock Out**: Once you've done your part for the planet, head back to the desk. Toggle off your recycling duty, knowing you've made CityLife Roleplay a cleaner and greener place to live!

1. **Visit Digital Den:** Head over to the Digital Den electronics store on your GPS! This is your one-stop shop for all things tech-related, and home to the crafting bench where you'll build your first mining rig.
2. **Stock up**: Now, purchase all the parts you'll need to build your first Mining Rig. You'll need a Tier 1 Motherboard, GPU, RAM, Cooling System, Power Supply, Storage Drive, and a Computer Case!
3. Craft Your Starter Rig: Use the crafting bench and your freshly purchased parts at Digital Den to build your first rig (You will need Crafting Level 5)
4. **Place Your Miner Indoors**: Your crypto miner must be placed inside a property you own or have access to. Head into your house or warehouse, use the miner from your inventory, and position it where you'd like. Warehouses can hold up to 4 miners if you're looking to scale up your operation!
5. **Select Your Crypto**: Interact with your placed miner to choose which cryptocurrency to mine. Start with Shungite - it's perfect for beginners. As you upgrade your hardware, you'll unlock X Coin and the premium LME Coin.
6. The Waiting Game Begins: Patience is key in crypto mining! Your rig will keep crunching numbers and generating cryptocurrency without any extra effort from you. Just sit back, relax, and let the passive income roll in. Mining updates happen every 20 minutes.
7. Reap the Benefits: Once your miner has accumulated crypto, interact with it to withdraw directly to your phone's crypto wallet. Watch out for storage limits though - if your miner fills up, it stops mining until you withdraw!


# Upgrading Your Rig

Your starter rig is just the beginning! To truly maximize your mining potential, you'll need to upgrade to Tier 2 and Tier 3 components.

**The Hidden Workshop**: \
Digital Den only has the basics. To craft Tier 2 and Tier 3 upgrades, as well as Advanced Electronic Repair Kits, you'll need to locate the secret electronics workshop hidden somewhere in the city. This crafting location is where serious miners go to build high performance components. Ask around, someone might know where it is!

**Gathering Materials**: \
Upgrading requires special materials you won't find at any store. You'll need to gather components from various activities around the city, such as Dumpster Diving, Garbage Job, House Robberies, Chop shop, and more!\
\
**Mining Efficiency & Hardware Score:** \
Every component in your miner contributes to your Hardware Score, which determines how efficiently you mine and which cryptocurrencies you can access. A basic rig starts around 135 points, enough to mine Shungite. To unlock X Coin, you'll need at least 200 points, which means an extra GPU or upgrading to Tier 2 parts. The premium LME requires 300+ points and serious hardware investment.&#x20;

TIP: The higher your score, the faster you mine and the more you earn. Keep your parts healthy though! Damaged components contribute less to your score!

3. **Get Your Route:** You'll be assigned 5-10 random deliveries around Los Santos. Each customer's order will vary in size (1-7 pizzas).
4. **Grab the Pizzas**: Head back to Pizza This! after each delivery to restock your pizza boxes. Check your inventory to see how many you need!
5. **Deliver on Time:** You have 5 minutes to complete each delivery from the time you leave the shop. Late deliveries = smaller tips!
6. **Watch Your Order Size**: Customers will be angry if you don't bring the exact number of pizzas they ordered. Bring extras to make them happy!
7. **Return to Shop**: After completing all deliveries (or whenever you're done), return the Faggio to Pizza This! to collect your payment.

### Getting Started

Starting a gang in CityLife is not a decision to be taken lightly. Building a reputation on the streets takes time, dedication, and the right people by your side. Before jumping in, consider the following:

* Establishing your gang takes time: You won't become a powerhouse overnight. Expect weeks of grinding activities, building connections, and growing your influence before unlocking major features.
* Choose your members wisely: Every member you recruit reflects on your gang. Bring in people you trust who are committed to the long-term vision, not just anyone looking for quick action.
* Quality over quantity: A tight knit crew of 6 reliable members will outperform 20 randoms who don't communicate or work together.
* Roleplay properly: Gang roleplay should enhance the server experience for everyone. Follow all server rules, avoid RDM & VDM, and create meaningful stories and rivalries.
* Respect the grind - The progression system is designed to reward consistent effort. There are no shortcuts.

# Gang Unlocks

🏆This page goes over the various different unlocks you can obtain as you level your Gang!

## Earning XP as a Gang

Your gang earns XP through various criminal activities across the city. XP is awarded for completing heists, robberies, boosting vehicles, and other illegal operations. Higher tier activities reward more XP for example, a Pacific Standard bank job grants significantly more than an ATM robbery. Each gang member receives the full XP amount (not split), but there's a 1,000 XP cap per player per restart to prevent power leveling. Notably, selling drugs from your own grow operation does not grant XP; however, selling another gang's product will award XP to the gang who grew it. Keep grinding activities with your crew to progress through the levels and unlock warehouses, upgrades, and eventually the ability to raid rival gang operations at level 25.

#### Official Territory

Whitelisted gangs receive designated territory on the map. This area becomes your gang's turf where you can establish dominance, conduct operations, and defend against rivals.

#### Gang Sprays & Graffiti

* Claim Territory - Spray your gang's custom graffiti on walls to mark turf
* Turf Radius - Each spray claims a radius around it
* NPC Dealers - Gang NPCs spawn near your sprays
* Contest Rival Sprays - Scratch enemy graffiti to take over their territory
* Spray Shop - Purchase spray cans (price scales with level) and spray remover

#### Crafting Bench

Each whitelisted gang receives a dedicated crafting bench at a unique location. At the bench, gang members can craft:

* Weapons
* Ammunition
* Armor
* Gang-exclusive items
* Other crafting recipes

#### Rob Law Enforcement

Whitelisted gangs gain access to the ability to rob police officers. This high risk activity allows gang members to take items from law enforcement during confrontations. Whitelisted gangs are trusted to not abuse this ability.

Becoming an official whitelisted gang unlocks exclusive features like territory, gang sprays, crafting benches, and more. But whitelist status isn't handed out freely, it's earned.

### Groups seeking whitelisted faction status must:
