Radio Comms 101: Staying Connected
Get Your Gear Visit any hardware store in the city to purchase a Radio. It’s the key to keeping your team in sync, whether you’re cruising with friends or planning bigger operations.
Activate the Radio
Right-click on the Radio in your inventory.
Select Use to power it up and bring up the frequency interface.
Choose Your Channel
At the center of your screen, you’ll see a field where you can type in a frequency.
Enter a channel number (e.g., 101.1, 200.5, etc.) and then press Enter to confirm.
You’ll connect to that specific frequency right away—just like tuning into a private station.
Adjusting Volume & Disconnecting
You can easily turn the volume up or down to suit your surroundings. Look at the image below for help with this
To leave a frequency (or fully shut off the radio), follow the image below.
Pro Tips
Share the Frequency: If you’re teaming up, make sure everyone agrees on the same channel before heading out.
Switch Often: If you suspect eavesdroppers, change frequencies regularly for better security.
Distance: Distance between your friends matters! The farther away, the weaker the frequency
